The role:

The Higher Education Coordinator will provide administrative, organizational, and customer service support for activities across the Higher Education team. This will include working cross-departmentally both within Education and throughout the Globe to ensure successful delivery of events and include acting as a company manager for a number of courses.

  • Company manage our Higher Education groups, ensuring participants are well supported throughout our courses with their educational needs and pastoral care.
  • Support the booking processes across all activities to ensure that successful bookings are made and managed according to the needs of the department.
  • Support in the preparation, and re-setting of spaces for lectures, workshops, and scene rehearsals. This may include the provision of hospitality, technical support, props, and handouts.
  • Liaise with freelancers, theatre professionals, and visiting speakers relating to the planning and delivery of courses and events.
  • Provide logistical and operational support to delivery teams as required to support the changing day-to-day operation.

The skills:

  • Professional, customer-focused approach ensuring promotion of education work.
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Strong administrative skills with a good working knowledge of Windows-based software (particularly Excel); some familiarity with digital meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom or Teams) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels.
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach to tasks.
  • A supportive team member and good team worker.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • A knowledge of how education organisations function.
  • The ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing situations.
  • A creative individual with a passion for Theatre and/or the Arts.

Salary: £28,033 per annum
