SOLT & UK Theatre welcome new pedicab regulations

Commenting on the introduction of TfL’s new regulatory framework for pedicabs, SOLT & UK Theatre Co-CEO Hannah Essex said:  

“For too long, West End theatres have had to manage the disruption caused by unregulated pedicabs, from crowding around entrances and exits, to music loud enough to be heard inside auditoriums.

“We warmly welcome the new regulatory framework for pedicabs. The introduction of a proper licensing system, safety standards for drivers, transparent pricing, and a ban on external speakers are long overdue and essential measures that will make the West End a safer and more welcoming place for residents, workers, and visitors alike.”
