Olivier Awards Ticket Terms and Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for the Olivier Awards 2026 with Cunard, scheduled for Sunday 12 April 2026 at the Royal Albert Hall. 

Tickets to the event including those sold on the arena floor, the stalls, all allocated grand tier, loggia and second tier boxes, and allocated seats in the rousing circle will be sold by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and any officially approved partners.  

Your Tickets 

  1. A valid ticket is required for all attendees to gain entry to the Royal Albert Hall. 
  1. Tickets are only valid of the date and time as advertised for the event on Sunday 12 April 2026. 
  1. Tickets purchased through SOLT are for seats on the Arena Floor, Stalls, Loggia Boxes, Grand Tier Boxes. These tickets include access to the green carpet and official After Party, and include a souvenir brochure.  
  1. Catering is available at an additional cost in the Loggia and Grand Tier Boxes and must be purchased via SOLT. 
  1. A number of circle tickets are available to purchase via SOLT and do not include access to the Green carpet, but do include a souvenir brochure.  
  1. Second Tier Boxes will be available to purchase at the discretion of SOLT through the official channels and will have their own specifications.  
  1. Some tickets to this event have specific conditions of sale. These will be listed at point of ticket request and/or purchase and it is the responsibility of the ticket holder or purchaser to check all conditions before they purchase tickets. 
  1. All tickets sold by SOLT will be accompanied with an information document that will outline entry details and indicate which door to use to enter Royal Albert hall for the event. 
  1. Please note the dress code is strictly black tie and glamorous and ticket holders may be refused entry if their dress code does not comply 
  1. Tickets are required for each child attending a performance. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+), who must sit next to them. The event is not recommended for children under the age of 10. 
  1. All accessibility requirements will be collated at point of ticket request and purchase and you will be assigned a place to watch the ceremony in consultation with SOLT and the Olivier awards. Companion tickets are available and are free of charge. 
  1. Ticket in view of British Sign Language interpretation are available to purchase via SOLT. There are a limited number of BSL tickets available and will be allocated on a first-come-first- served basis. For more information please contact ticketing@olivierawards.com  
  1. All purchases of tickets and seating allocations (including box purchases) is at the discretions of SOLT.  
  1. SOLT reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme. 

Complimentary or Prize Winners tickets 

  1. Any and all attendees who have been given complimentary ticket via SOLT (in connection to sponsorship, partnerships or otherwise) or won complimentary tickets to the event via Cunard, must abide by all of SOLT’s ticketing terms and conditions.  
  1. These terms apply specifically to the Olivier Awards event on Sunday 12 April 2026. Separate terms apply for any promotion, competition, travel or voyage in connection to Cunard. 

Resale and Personal Use 

  1.  Any unauthorized re-sale of tickets is strictly prohibited. Any purchaser who is found reselling tickets to the event, including for profit, commercial gain or otherwise, will be refused entry to the event and all associated tickets will be made void. 
  1. Only those individual, companies or organisations explicitly authorised by SOLT may sell or re-sell tickets on behalf of the Society of London Theatre to the event 

Cancellations and Refunds 

  1. If an event is cancelled, you will be offered a full refund. Refunds or exchanges must be requested from SOLT and can only be claimed by the person who made the booking. 
  1.  Any refunds are permitted up to one week before the event. Refunds cannot be guaranteed after this period.  

Entry and Attendance 

  1. SOLT or The Royal Albert Hall may introduce additional safety measures for customers and staff attending performances in accordance with Government guidelines and/or our own risk assessment of the events. If measures are introduced, you will be informed by email as soon as possible. All attendees will be required to comply with these measures. 
  1. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed. 
  1. Food and drink may not be brought into the building. 
  1. It is against the law to smoke in the Royal Albert Hall. The use of e-cigarettes is also prohibited. 
  1. For security reasons people, bags and any other property may be searched as a condition of entry. 
  1. Mobile phones and other electronic devices are distracting to other audience members. Please ensure they are switched off. 
  1. SOLT and The Royal Albert Hall reserves the right to refuse admission. 

Photography and Recording 

  1. The ceremony will be broadcast on television and radio as determined by SOLT. By using the tickets and attending the Awards, you waive your moral rights and assign any copyright in any films or recordings or still images of you (and any performance) to SOLT and consent to such recordings/still images being broadcast, printed or otherwise used (by radio, television, print, online and other media) worldwide without payment.  
  1.  The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data inside the Royal Albert Hall is strictly forbidden.  
  1. Purchase of a ticket and attendance at an event means you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a member of the audiences and its use in commercial distribution without payment or copyright. 
  1. All mobiles must be switched off for the duration of the ceremony. Unauthorised recording equipment, recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed or deleted.  
  1. Any recording made of the ceremony in breach of these conditions shall belong to the Event Organiser. 
  1. You will ensure that any individual attending an event with you (on whose behalf you have purchased a ticket) is made aware of and agrees to comply with these terms and conditions as if they were the purchaser of the ticket (including but not limited to the photography and recording terms below). For any individual under 18 you confirm either: you are their parent/guardian and you confirm agreement to these terms on their behalf; or you have obtained the consent of the parent/guardian of that individual. 

Social Media Guidelines 

  1. We trust users to be responsible, and the huge majority of people who post on our channels respect that trust. SOLT or the Royal Albert Hall may report, remove or request the removal of any content that it considers to be unlawful (or which promotes unlawful conduct) or which it deems inappropriate, including but not limited to: 
  • Obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory comments or comments that incite or condone violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, or sexual orientation/gender identity, or whose primary purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these core characteristics 
  • Threatening or abusive content or content that invades another’s privacy, or which harasses or causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety 
  • Content showing harmful or dangerous acts 
  • Pornography or sexually explicit content 
  • Spam, scams, misleading content or metadata 
  • Violent or graphic content. Some comments might offend you but won’t necessarily violate our guidelines. 
  • Content that infringes the rights (including intellectual property rights or rights of privacy) of any third party. 
  • Content that jeopardises security of the event or venue, including sharing security passes or access details and/or routes pertaining to the event.  
  • We recognise that people think, feel and react in different ways. Assessing content may involve a delicate balancing act and our assessment may not please everyone all of the time. 

Violence to staff 

  1. Our staff are committed to creating an unforgettable experience for everyone attending the event and treating everyone with respect. We ask that you show them and your fellow audience members respect too. 
  1. Physically or verbally abusive or threatening behaviour towards SOLT or Royal Albert Hall staff or members of our audience is offensive and unacceptable. Any such incidences will be investigated and appropriate action taken. 

Limitation of Liability  

  1. Neither the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) nor the Royal Albert Hall accepts liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. 
  1. SOLT or the Royal Albert Hall are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters or government restrictions. 
  1. SOLT, the Olivier awards and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the event, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Restricted items 

  1. The following items are not permitted at the event: any item illegal by law; items related to protest, hatred, or advertising; flammable substances; weapons including hoax or imitation; fireworks, flares or pyrotechnics; incapacitant sprays, offensive messaging; alcoholic beverages; signage larger than A4; noise making devices; laser pointers; glass, including fragrance bottles; legal highs and gases (with exception for medical requirements); face coverings (medical face masks and religious coverings are permitted); helium balloons; chairs and stools; drones or radio transmitters; animals (with the exception of certified assistance dogs); large lithium-ion batteries; detachable camera lenses of more than 6cm in length; flags larger than 0.5mx1m (no flag poles larger than 0.6m); unauthorised recording/streaming devices including Go Pros, iPads, Smart Glasses. 

Baggage must be kept to a minimum as excessive baggage will slow down the search points and delay entry. Additionally, please do not bring any sharp objects as they will be confiscated at security and not guaranteed to be returned. The Royal Albert Hall baggage restrictions are as follows: 

  • One bag per person 
  • Must fit under your seat 
  • Should not exceed 25L 
  • Size is approximately 40cm x 30xm x 20cm. 

Amendments 

  1. We reserve the right to amend or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions apply to your ticket purchase with immediate effect from the date of publication on our website.
