Kids Week Supports Government’s Help For Households Initiative to Combat Cost of Living Crisis

SOLT President Eleanor Lloyd attended an event today (Thursday 21 July) alongside business leaders from across retail, leisure and telecommunications at No. 10 Downing Street to mark the launch of Help for Households, a Government campaign bringing together deals and discounts to help families weather the current cost of living crisis.

Eleanor Lloyd said:

‘Theatre and the arts have an immeasurable impact on people’s wellbeing and are often vital during difficult times. The theatre industry is proud to play our part in ensuring the widest possible access to world-class culture, especially during this cost of living crisis. We are delighted that Kids Week, a much-loved and longstanding audience development initiative in the West End, will now be brought to even more families this summer through Help for Households – and we look forward to working with the campaign on further initiatives giving everyone a chance to experience the magic of live theatre for less.’

Kids Week is an annual promotion offering free tickets to dozens of top West End shows for children aged 17 and under throughout August, when accompanied by a full paying adult. Two additional children can also go half price, and there are no booking fees. Kids Week tickets are available now only from officiallondontheatre.com/kids-week
