We are looking for a Stage Automation Technician (Grade 4) to join the National Theatre Stage Team.

Based within the Stage department, with an expertise in automation, this role works alongside a senior automation technician on a production to support rehearsals, fit ups, technical rehearsals, performances and get outs. This role works across all three theatres depending on a productions automation requirement also contributing to the maintenance and development of the National Theatres automation equipment.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience with entertainment automation control systems
Experience as an Automation technician in long running, producing, or touring theatre environments
Excellent stage craft skills and the ability to work at height using access equipment and PPE such as ladders and work positioning equipment.
Industry recognised training and certificates such as NRC, IOSHH ABTT awards.
An excellent working knowledge and experience of theatrical flying techniques.
