Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience working as part of a press team, delivering successful press and influencer campaigns across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
  • Understanding of how social media, influencers and digital content can be used as part of campaigns.
  • Experience using press contacts database and media monitoring systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal English with strong editing and proof-reading experience.
  • Ability to maintain and develop working relationships with media contacts, including national press.
  • Passion for the performing arts, and ballet/dance in particular, with a good understanding of arts and culture sector press.

Your main responsibilities as Press Officer will include:

  • Work with the Head of Press and Communications to deliver earned media campaigns for ENB’s productions, as well as engagement and digital initiatives beyond the stage.
  • Maintain and develop contacts with national and local journalists, media and influencers.
  • Research press opportunities for upcoming productions, events, initiatives and key stakeholders.
  • Arrange interviews, photocalls, photo opportunities, and publicity events.
  • Contribute to the delivery, scheduling and management of influencer activity.
  • Write, proofread and distribute press releases, ensuring key messaging is effectively communicated.
