Deputy Head of Automation – CABARET at The Kit Kat Club
An opportunity to be part of the backstage team on the seven Olivier award winning production of the classic musical CABARET in London’s West End, directed by Rebecca Frecknall and designed by Tom Scutt as we go into our fourth year.
Start Date: January 2024. Minimum contract length of 52 weeks.
Role: Deputy Head of Automation
Responsibilities:
Running automation plot (desk op & backstage plot)
Automation system maintenance.
Contract Type: SOLT/BECTU Agreement
Weekly Fee: BECTU Grade 2 rate plus top-up based on a 46 hour a week buyout
Experience:
Either a qualification in Technical Theatre or at least one year’s experience in a related role in professional theatre. Please do NOT apply for this role if you have no experience of working in a technical capacity backstage in professional theatre.
Experience of using automation consoles but training will be given.
