HR Advisor – Employee Experience (EX)

About the role

English National Ballet is seeking an HR Advisor to take forward a variety of workstreams and projects relating to EX.  The role works to support the realisation of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) throughout the employee lifecycle and employee journey across the organisation.   The work encompasses these key areas and includes creating engaging content for the intranet and other platforms:

    • Feedback surveys and employee voice
    • Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
    • Learning and Develpment
    • Wellbeing and Work-Life Balance
    • Management factors influencing the EX

This role will contribute to a progressive approach to enhance the Employee Experience at ENB, keeping up to date with best practice and current developments relevant to the role.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop good working knowledge of survey tools and processes and continue progress on annual staff survey, with analysis of findings
  • Help drive forward the ENB Network Group Programme, working with key stakeholders to set up sessions including launch sessions, and building on progress made
  • Undertake work on strategic initiatives, assessments and accreditations, working with our diversity partners as needed
  • Develop good understanding of how learning, development and growth are fundamental to the EVP and talent retention; support implementation of organisation wide training initiatives, and maintain records of completion
  • Help with provision of tools and information to support the process for reasonable adjustments for staff who disclose disability or neurodiversity
  • Provide content and materials to support managers in understanding how to support psychological safety, and enable a positive EX
  • Develop good listening and enquiry skills, with ability to engage and empathise
  • Develop well-presented documents  and assets as required for different workstreams and platforms

Key Selection Criteria

  • Evidence of experience of working in some of these areas and ability to develop in-depth knowledge across all:
    • Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and staff networks
    • Staff surveys and employee feedback channels
    • Creating content for intranet or other communication channels
    • Wellbeing and reasonable adjustments
    • Learning and development tools and tracking
  • Ability to develop and drive new initiatives and workstreams to support a quality experience across the employee lifecycle
  • Ability to research new areas and develop relevant knowledge over time
  • Good systems skills, including content management systems (CMS) and also Excel, able to learn new systems and databases
  • Track record in delivering high quality assets, materials and reports
  • Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
