The Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO) continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms. Based at our iconic heritage site in Covent Garden, the RBO Shop is open to our visitors and customers daily from midday.

We are now looking for fantastic Retail Assistants to support the RBO team across the busy Winter season. To apply, you must be available to work a variable shift pattern including evenings, and weekends. Training in our systems and procedures will be provided and you will need to gain sufficient knowledge of our product range fairly quickly.

The successful candidates will be experienced team players, able to demonstrate:

  • Confident, helpful manner and consistent high level of customer care and service
  • Proven experience in a retail and/or customer service environment
  • Proficiency in learning new systems and stock inventories
  • Numeracy and accuracy in card payments processing, reconciliation, order processing and stock taking
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and use initiative in a busy role
