As part of our mission to make theatre accessible to the widest possible audience, we encourage our Members to provide the best possible facilities for individuals with physical disabilities, hearing or visual impairments, and autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities or other sensory and communication disorders.
Our news, listings and ticketing website OfficialLondonTheatre.com features an access page dedicated to information about assisted performances and accessibility. Whether you’re looking to find an audio-described, captioned, sign language interpreted or relaxed performance of a specific show or interested in what disabled access facilities venues in the capital offer, Access London Theatre is an invaluable resource for individuals with access needs.
You can also sign up to our monthly Access London Theatre e-newsletter, which provides all the latest access news and information direct to your inbox.
Our quarterly Access London Theatre brochure lists audio-described, captioned, sign language interpreted and relaxed performances taking place across the capital. The brochure is free and available in large print, Braille and on CD. You can order a free copy by calling 020 7557 6700 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org requesting your choice of format. The brochure is also available to download in large print and rich text format here.
The Access London Theatre brochure’s Venue Access Guide features access information, including full addresses, useful phone and email contacts, details of accessible facilities such as disabled toilets and vital information for wheelchair users, for more than 60 theatres in London. The latest copy can be downloaded here.
