The Theatre & Touring Symposium 2019 Report sets out the key points made in the Symposium's Discussion Sessions, and the suggested practical actions for UK Theatre and the Society of London Theatre to take forward with colleagues across the industry.

The Theatre and Touring Symposium 2019 returned to The Brewery, London on Monday 17 June 2019 for a second sold-out year.

Presented by UK Theatre and Society of London Theatre, this industry conference is an opportunity for the theatre sector to come together to discuss and tackle shared issues, leading to real and practical change.

Chair: Jessica Hepburn, former Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith and a former director of UK Theatre and the London Theatre Consortium, Jessica has since founded Fertility Fest, published two books and continues to be a trustee of theatre organisations.

Keynote Speaker: Mark CornellCEO of Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), former Managing Director of Sotheby's Europe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moet Hennessy USA and Chief Executive Officer of Krug Champagne. Mark joined ATG in 2016.

*The programme for the day was informed by your responses to our call for ideas survey discussions that took place at the Venues, Producers and Touring Forums across the UK between November 2018 and March 2019.
