We are looking for a self-starter with either experience in membership, individual giving, a great sales and relationship management background, or an experienced trust and foundations fundraiser to join our team. The Senior Development Officer will take a leading role in supporting the development team to grow our restricted and unrestricted income. The postholder will take the lead on growing our individual giving income stream, which will include, creating and managing our individual giving membership and patrons’ scheme, creating and managing corresponding membership events and cultivation events and growing and stewarding a major donor income stream.
In addition, the post holder will lead on small and medium trust and foundations applications, working across the organisation to help identify opportunities for funding, create compelling cases for support, build relationships with trusts and foundations, and write successful funding bids. The post holder will also be responsible for reporting back to funders in a timely fashion and building lasting relationships with the trusts and foundations we work with.
