Summary

The opportunity has arisen for a Campaigns Officer (marketing & digital) to join WTM’s Marketing team. Working collaboratively with and reporting to the Senior Campaigns Officer, the Campaigns Officer will work on marcomms campaigns in line with the charity’s strategies.

Helping attract and retain new and diverse audiences, increase loyalty and repeat attendance from existing audiences and visitors and maximising income generation of the commercial strands of the business (venue hires, bars, retain including The Museum Shop).

The Campaigns Officer will support the wider team in the effective delivery of marcomms campaigns to ensure that Worthing Theatres & Museum exceeds audience and income growth targets across all live events, film, exhibitions and workshops. 

The Campaigns Officer will be supporting the development of a digital strategy for Worthing Theatres & Museum. They will need to be up-to-date on current digital trends within the Arts, Culture and Heritage sectors. 

This role is mainly office-based, with occasional work from home possible (but not essential) in line with the needs of the business.

Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Campaigns Officer with the development and delivery of creative multi-channel marketing campaigns for WTM’s diverse programme in order to reach a wide range of audiences, significantly increase sales and support the achievement of agreed sales targets.
  • Support the increase of audience reach and engagement.
  • Contribute to the marketing dashboard to report on marcomms and digital campaigns.
  • Support the Senior Campaigns Officer with audience outreach.
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans to promote and maximise income from Worthing Theatres & Museum commercial and trading activities.
  • Deliver against WTM’s Audience Development Strategy.
  • Support with updating and maintaining WTM’s website
