Job Specification
The Young Vic is looking for a Lighting Technician to join our Production department. 
A registered charity and theatrical powerhouse, the Young Vic is synonymous with inclusivity, accessibility and creativity. We are deeply rooted in our local communities of Lambeth and Southwark, through Taking Part, at the same time as being internationally recognised for productions made with the world’s finest performers and creative teams. We are also proud to develop the next generation of emerging talent through our Directors Program. 
About the role 
The Lighting Technician, working alongside the Deputy Head of Lighting, Head of Lighting, and wider Production department, is responsible for the delivery of lighting aspects of Young Vic productions and related projects. You will operate lighting and video in the performance spaces, work with creative teams and technical staff to realise lighting and sound designs, and carry out general maintenance of lighting equipment. We are looking for someone who has some experience of the operation and maintenance of theatrical lighting equipment and infrastructure, with a working knowledge of ETC EOS/ION lighting consoles and networks.
