£650 per performance week
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working on a West End/No 1 UK Tour musical (but those with experience of working on smaller scale musicals should also apply). They should have a proactive, ‘can do’ attitude and be able to fit in as part of 3 person Wardrobe & Wigs team and small company. Applicants should show a willingness to be flexible as well as being highly confident. Given the nature of the costumes on the show, experience of working with unconventional fabrics is desirable and previous experience with hair/ wigs would be required.

You will be required undertake any and all duties expected of a Wardrobe & Wigs Assistant, which include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the maintenance of the costumes and wigs on the UK Tour Production in liaison with the Head of Wardrobe & Head of Wigs;
Assist as required with the get-in and get-out of the costumes and wigs for the UK Tour Production;
Dress actors with wigs and costumes as required;
Report any petty cash spend and supply receipts to the Head of Wardrobe & Head of Wigs;
Replenish, order, maintain and repair costume wardrobe stock in consultation with the Head of Wardrobe, Head of Wigs and Wardrobe Deputy.
Ensure the safest possible working environment at all times, and that all Health and Safety procedure and practice, including any additional COVID-19 Infection Control Procedures, are adhered to;
Any other reasonable duty that would normally fall within the remit of a Head of Wardrobe based on industry norms and practice.
Salary: £650 per performance week
Touring Allowance: £265 per week where applicable
Contract: UK Theatre/ BECTU
