Performances Birmingham Limited (PBL) is the registered charity that manages Town Hall Symphony Hall (THSH) - two iconic venues at the heart of Birmingham. Together they present an exciting and varied programme designed to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds. THSH welcomes over half a million people to around 800 concerts and events every year in our Halls, and elsewhere in Birmingham. We are also committed to our local community and connect over 15,000 young people and adults to a world of music with our broad and exciting education, community and talent development programme.
To support us in our work, we are looking for people who have experience of working in a fast paced hospitality environment; serving a varied customer base; confident with dealing with processing payments; and who enjoy working as part of a team to deliver a great experience to our guests.
Shifts are primarily in the evenings, starting at 6.00 - 7.00 pm and finishing between 10 -11.30pm throughout the week and the weekend. So we require people who are available to take up shifts on a regular basis. Ideally, this means six shifts in every two weeks, for at least 3 hours, with three of the six shifts on a Saturday and/or Sunday. Christmas is a really busy time, so we need people who are available to work during the festive period, excluding the 25th December and 26th December but including the 31st December until after midnight.
