Scotland’s award-winning national dance company is seeking a Technical Director. 
 
FULL-TIME, PERMANENT CONTRACT 
 
Scottish Ballet is seeking a talented professional with high level technical and theatre experience to lead the Company’s touring, production and technical operations. 
 
The Technical Director is a member of the Senior Management Team and provides advice, leadership and strategic direction on all aspects of technical and production activities, including planning, budgets and repertoire creation. 
 
Established in 1969 by Peter Darrell, Scottish Ballet is an award-winning Company which has built its reputation on strong commissioning and ambitious touring, and regularly presents at premier theatres and events such as Sadler’s Wells and the Edinburgh International Festival, as well as leading venues and festivals throughout Europe, Asia and North America. 
 
If you are a strategic and creative thinker, can lead a team and would value a challenging role within a national company, then we would be delighted to receive your application, which should include: 
• A letter outlining your interest in being considered for the position – why you believe your skills, knowledge and experience are relevant to the role, and how you will add value to Scottish Ballet; 
• A copy of your curriculum vitae; 
• The names and contact details of at least two professional referees (these will only be contacted should you be offered the position); 
• Your salary expectation. A salary package will be negotiated, commensurate with experience.
